We don't have any eligibility criteria for EE yet.

Please calculate your points here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11gAbKSoDoOr1s8_raB1qwz0i-ZH0NyNWhhn18O6kHwQ/edit#gid=1627896255
And add your info to this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13Hf5KT35xOJMzlHo9KVenqYSrZFTjt0qc_PZgrI4mls/edit#gid=0

I don't see why you wouldn't be eligible, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'm sure there is no problem for you to be registered in both programs (CEC and EE).

I am still to figure out how Express Entry would work. Anyhow, any comments on my profile vis-a-vis Express Entry ? A brief about me:

1. 5+ years of work experience as a Specialist Pediatrician
2. MBBS, MD post grad from one of the top most Institute in India
3. 1 1/2 year work + training experience in Canada .
4 IELTS score Overall 8.5
5. 34 years of age
6. Married
7. 1 yr Son Born in Canada /Canadian
8. Permanant Job offered in Saskatchewan as a Pediatrician with LMIA positive from 2015 October (400k salary)

Requesting someone to comment on my chances via Express Entry program 2015.
Should i wait for Express entry (worried if i will make the points) or should i go ahead and right away apply for Canada Experience Class on my current experience
or apply for Provincial Nominee Program.
How many points would i score .Can someone Calculate and whats the minimum i would need .

Please help
Regards,

You can calculate your points here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

But with a Permanent Job Offer, if you don't get in, nobody else will. There is no minimum in EE, it works as a competitive system, but I don't think there is competition if you have a job offer.

Also, there is no harm in applying for several programs at once (CEC and EE), but EE should be faster IMHO.

Irrespective of the form and shape that the Express Entry may take there are a few things future applicants can do now (based on existing programs) to hit the ground running:

1. Get IELTS done for Self and Spouse.
2. Get reference letters for their intended NOC or atleast do the groundwork by informing supervisors / keeping text ready.
3. Maintain a healthy bank balance in line with current FSW reuirements.
4. Get ECA done for Self and if possible for Spouse too.
5. Make sure the Birth Certificates and Marriage certificates, where applicable, are correct and appropriate.
6. Identify relatives in Canada and let them know what kind of dcouments may be expected from them.

If CIC are going to pick and choose the candidates from a pool it would be advantageous to have as many points as possible rather than just clearing the cut-off.

All the best.
all good .. but i think you wont need to provide proof of funds for EE as there will be a job offer involved.

Your chances look bright. Canada needs doctors like you..

Kindly also consider for your spouse to give ielts and if he or she has a good Academic qualifications, Kindly go for WES Canada Evaluation. This would add points to your application

Good luck doc

The KEY Criteria of assessment for Express Entry - 2015
.
.
For Express Entry either you have job offer from employer or apply for job through Job Bank where different employer posted their job. Once you got invitation from an Employer then you will apply for PR Application of EE. Your Profile is valid for one year after that you need to create again your profile in EE
.

In theory, EE will be faster than EE. But we don't know how this will work yet, if you will have to wait until the end of January for example. Could you gather your documents so you can apply for both? That's what I would do.

For the others, you don't need IELTS or ECA from your wife. You will lose points, but you have 600 from job offer so you got plenty to spare.

Thank you for your response.. Regarding ECA is it required ? I am the principal applicant with loa and job offer ..

Hello Experts,

What is certificate of qualification ? Is this related to our Educational degree certificate ?

Without job offer it would be really though I am getting only 370 points as of now.

Certificate of qualification is for trade people and trade occupations only. Your score is close to the average score on the EXpress Entry Spread Sheet.

When exactly we will be able to register for job bank in search of jobs.

Also applicants who ever applied for FSW can also register for this service or its only dedicated to EE applicants ?
