Exporting a car

Hello everyone!
Is it worth to go through the hassle of exporting a car from the US to Canada? Should I just sell my car here in the US and then buy another one when I get to Canada?

Please, if you have any previous experience exporting a car from the US feel free to drop a line.

I personally will sell my car, I'm planing to move to Alberta and I live in Georgia, it's way to far to travel with wife and 2 girls
