Explanation letter needed for new reference letter?

Hi guys,

My PR application got rejected because the reference letter did not comply with CIC’s template and now I have another reference letter following all the CIC’s format including duties and responsibilities.
Should I have an explanation letter to explain my file got rejected because of this and now I could get the new one? Or it is better to leave it.

no you don’t need to provide An explanation letter. Since the application was rejected I gues you had to wait to receive ITA again. It’s considered a new application and they have record of the old refusal so U don’t have to explain.
