Explanation Letter - Need Advise.

Hi All,

Here is an explanation letter I am attaching with my application (full docs). Any comments are appreciated.

Following are a few explanations about my application.

1. Title “Hafiz” with my father name:

“Hafiz” is a title for those who memorize the Quran (The Holy Book). My father is a Hafiz and his name carries this title (which actually is not the part of his name) on some of my Educational documents.

So wherever his name is carrying this title i.e. “Hafiz Abdul Karim” in the documents, kindly consider it as “Abdul Karim”.

2. Nikah and Wedding Ceremony Dates

My Nikah was held around 6 months before my wedding ceremony. Having said that my marriage registration date is July 25, 2006, while the wedding ceremony was held on December 9, 2006.

On my initial application I mentioned December 9, 2006 – the wedding ceremony date - mistakenly on “Application for Permanent Residence in Canada” under #9 Your current marital status.

In my current application, I am updating it to correct marriage registration date (according to Nikah Nama) i.e. July 25, 2006.

3. Employment dates with my current employer

In my (the principal applicant) Background Declaration form under the Personal history section, I mentioned January 2003 as the joining date of my current employer i.e. “XYZ (Pvt.) Limited”. While on Economic Class form it is September 2003 under Your work experience section.

This is because I have worked on contract basis with “XYZ (Pvt.) Limited” from January 2003 to August 2003, which they don't consider as the proper employment. Therefore, I mentioned January 2003 in Personal history section of Background Declaration form as it was part of my personal history.

However, In September 2003, they offered me full time position as Senior Software Engineer. This is the date I mentioned in Your work experience section of Economic Class form.

4. Transcript of my spouse

My spouse did bachelors from Peshawar University. She applied for her transcript in university sealed envelope but neither have they issued transcripts nor do they seal the original DMCs (Detailed Marks Certificates). However, they do verify and seal the photocopies of DMCs, which I am attaching with my application.

Seems to me all are fine except the "Transcript of my spouse".
VO like to see the original. Before go rethink please and try to get the original one any how.

I do have her Original DMCs, and I am planning to send those as well. And I think I should add a line about attaching originals in letter above. What you say?

This is what I am going to add in last section of letter:

I am also attaching the Higher Education Commission verified original DMCs.

In my country most of the Universities providing Transcript with sealed envelope without any problem.
Well, if you not able to find any alternative options then it's alright to send the original one, but before that check how others from your country managed this things. Especially check who already got the PR.

I did graduation from Punjab University and they issue transcripts in sealed envelope, and I am sending that.

However, I contacted Peshawar university and they told that they don't issue transcripts.

Then you should ask them to seal your original marks sheets in university envelops.

Karachi University also not offers issuance of transcripts but they sealed mine & my wife's original marks sheets along with university verified their photocopies in separate envelops.

I have had requested them to seal the originals too, but they didn't. They said, they only seal the photocopies. So I am sending the sealed photocopies and HEC Verified original marks sheets.

yes, dont worry. i did the same. however, this also depends where you are applying from. i applied at CHC Islamabad and they accepted notarized photocopies of dmc's for most of the applicants, so i wasn't much worried about not getting university sealed transcripts.
