Expiring work permit

Hello Sir/ mam

I got my PNP and i have to apply for federal now.
I am confused in one thing.

So i will apply federal through express entry and it will take a year or so for the results.
Now what if my work permit is valid only for 8 months.

Am i still eligible to work till my result comes or i need some document to work.

Please reply.

If you apply for PR before your current work permit expires, you can apply for a bridging open work permit and continue working under implied status while it is being processed.

Does the BOWP have the “has to be expiring within 4 months” caveat or does that not apply once you have an AOR?

I believe you still have to wait until your current permit is within four months of expiring.

I have another question. So as i applied PNP in ON.
i have heard that after applying PNP you are restricted with one employer.
So if that is the case am i still eligible for BOWP?
