Is it an issue if my TRV is expired? It has been expired for a few months and I haven't been able to apply to renew it due to various personal issues and not being able to get to it. During this time I have had a valid Work Permit and have been employed. I am in the process of applying for a TRV again. I am aware I can be in Canada only on a valid satus. Is my Work Permit what gives me my status (of temporary worker) or my TRV?
