EXPERTS please HELP!!! Question about taking wife to Canada

I am planning for Jan 14 intake. Is there a way to take my wife along with me (or call her a little later) while I will be on a student visa for 2 years?

If yes, please tell me the procedure. If no, any other way to get her to Canada??

I do not have any children!

She can try IELTS but not sure if she can score!! Is IELTS compulsory?? She is not willing to work!!

I will be applying under SPP category....

She can manage the IELTS thingy !!! How soon can I arrange for her to come to Canada.....

Thanks ... just to confirm ... she wouldn't be a student right .. just a dependent who will live with me .... or does she HAVE to be ONLY on a student visa??

no U can hav her try for TRV..but after 3-4 months of your landin preferrably durin Christmas or New year. That would look lik a genuine reason for her to come over for a visit / vacation for sometime duuring which time she can apply for OWP if she wants to work or else keep extending her stay as long as your visa holds good.

your wife can go with u as a dependent and she can also get an open work permit .....u can apply for her work permit or just TRV along with ur application she doesnt need IELTS

very wrong information ...my wife is with me on a TRV as a dependent .....no IELTS required and she doesnt work either

well is his profile strong and ur financial situation strong then u can apply right after u get ur study permit.....i applied for my study permit first and when i got mine i applied for my wifes TRV no work permit.....she got it in 4 day....my financial situation was strong so had sufficient funds for both me and my wife .....
