well is his profile strong and ur financial situation strong then u can apply right after u get ur study permit.....i applied for my study permit first and when i got mine i applied for my wifes TRV no work permit.....she got it in 4 day....my financial situation was strong so had sufficient funds for both me and my wife .....

Alright I cant tell if his profile is strong... may be you could. He worked for close to years in Dubai until this feb 13' and from March he s into a leading BPO company and working till date here. He's has done only his BCS gegree (Bachelor in Crporate Secretaryship.

With respect to funds, how much should he hold? Well, now he can show somewhere about $10k CAD abd I would have my Dad show me some funds nad properties for me. Is this good enough for him?

i would say he doesnt have too much exp were his grads good in final year? 10k is okish but more the better....also which country ru applying from? how is ur profile? i think he should be ok but keep in mind spouse visas r a bit difficult ..u can also just apply for TRV and write a nice SOP for him and when u go to canada then apply for work permit.....thats the call u have to make depending on ur situation

dude he is asking about his wife u understand that right? he has applied for study permit and a TRV(unless he is from a country that does not need TRV) and he will need a TRV or a work permit application for his wife.

ok so have u applied for ur study permit? once u get ur TRV/study permit/ letter of introduction u can right away apply for ur wife....this is if u apply first and not together with ur wife.....

I haven't applied for my study permit yet!!! Will be after giving my IELTS in Aug/ Sept!! I in-fact want my wife to come a little later ... as in, I want to go first with a friend who will be on PR.. try to settle things and then call our respective wife's!
