Expecting a change in family composition. Will this affect your processing?

Hi Everyone,

I had applied under FSW3 in June 2010 and my file has been transferred to NYVO from Buffalo in Nov 2011. The online status reads "In-Process". As well there was a letter from NYVO stating to get back to them if there is no progress on the application after 90 days. I did contact them by sending an email and the reply was the File is still in process.

Now my wife is carrying and we are expecting a new member to our family by Nov 2012. If I get a request for medicals before Nov 2012, will I be able to complete the medicals without the X-ray? Are there any formalities that should be followed during this period?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Note: I'm still in Canada working on a WP waiting for my PR. It's been close to 4 years for me here now.

Medicals will not be complete without x-ray. Best thing to do is inform VO of the baby when they issue you MR.

Hi if ?øû get your Mr....your wife will do other medical txt except the x-ray..so she will complete her medical once d baby is born...adding a family member will only delay the process..i added A???? baby last year..and am yet to complete my X-ray cos am expecting another.

Thanks for the information. Can we inform CIC before hand of the pregnancy? As well does the process get delayed even if the child is a Canadian? If so any idea how long will this get delayed?

Its possible to do the medicals without the x-ray .... U need to give supporting documents mentioning that ure wife is carrying and the expected date ..The visa office will specify the date when the x-ray needs to be taken after the delivery...

I don't think there is any need to inform them until d baby arrives....once d baby is born you inform them and d will let u know what to do...but if ur medicals come before then there is A???? questioneer..she will need to answer if she is preg or not and give them EDD on the medical form
