So my wife just cleared her citizenship exam yesterday (20/20). But during her interview, they can for the translation of exit/entry stamps which she didn't knew about. so now they have told wait for a letter which will tell her what information she needs to provide. I am in fort mcmurray and most of my processing is done in Edmonton.

Any one else have any idea what will they be asking for and now how much the process will be delayed for?

Likely if just passport stamp translation, you will have to get any stamps not in English or French translated. I had one I had to get done as well. Just search for approved passport translators. Lots in Toronto not sure about Edmonton. I believe it was a question on my cit 0520 that I received.

So what I understand hat in CIT they specially ask you what they want, any idea once you send in the document how long does it take them to send you the oath date?

Varies but if that is all you need may not be very long. Mine had a lot more requirements, so still outstanding since submitted in May.

Just get the translations done and send it to CIC and it may take a month to couple of months but really no one can predict how much time it will take. Good luck and best wishes.

Are you referring CBS to "Canada Border Services" or something else?

CIC needs to validate the non-english stamps to ensure when did the person enter/left that country (non-english stamp), that's the reason why they wanted to validate the details. They might use it to match it with your residency calculator or to determine the residency days requirements.
