Definitely bring all you have. It can't possibly hurt, even if the IO doesn't even look at them. Better to come overly prepared than to have the IO ask "Have anything else to show me?" and then regret not bringing it.
I've heard of people saying they brought things and the IO didn't even look at them, others got IOs that did look at what they brought. You've nothing to lose by bringing it, right?

Hello Boujams,

After a long time to see your thread, well my wife had sent lots of evidences before interview, but they again asked in interview more evidences, that was really enough to show our true relationship.. anyways i would rather suggest you if you have western union receipts or any other receipts you better make two copies keep one with you and give them original i have given them everything i had, i want to ask other members will they return my evidences cuz they are precious to me love letters from my wife, and defiantly it will help us in our appeal too. so will they return back with our file?

:)

hey boujasem,

Yes, arm yourself with all you can! Letters from friends, parents, family doctor, people who know that u are married like professors, etc.

My sister and her husband had an interview and before she interviewed them sepratley, she waved it because of the evidance that they provided!

absolutely take allllllllllllllll evidence,
proof of an on going relationship is what they are looking for,
i would limit western union receipts if the male is being sponsored
as they may consider that the applicant cannot support himself
and is looking for a way out of the country

speaking from experience

Boujasim, take anything, and I mean anything that can come up in your mind that prove your continuous relation with your wife.
I made a full A4list paper for old and new proof, take ideas from these:
-Old picture not sent, new picture since he visited me twice in Lebanon
-Old email not sent and new one.
- All our phone bills old and new
- Old receipt, new receipt, boarding passes, expense in Lebanon while he was visiting me.
-my medical insurance in USA (under his name)
- My dentist bills...( he is still waiting for me..haram..:)
- The receipt of the credit card I am using in Lebanon, witch are in his name
-Picture of the gifts he sent me while in Lebanon with their card.
- Receipt of jewelry he bought to me.
- email from friends and relative while I was in usa
-western Union receipt
.....
so take idea and see what you have like these to provide, have they set an interview date for you, or not yet.

Rorita and Boujasim,

You heard anything yet!!!.
I was approved last week for sponsoring him and they sent everything to Damascus. I know it's a long way. Good luck to both of you.
Boujasim be careful about providing western union receipt especially at the time when you completed the application there is one question regarding supporting each other financially, if you had indicated yes to the question you can included but if you indicated no don't included.

In my opinion if you had indicated on your application you are not financially helping each other why would you provide them with a receipt that said otherwise.

Ok,,,

boujasim,

well,

if the date u sent the money is after u filed the application, then include it anyways.

There is 9 of us and all of us worte letters to my sister. My brother wrote a poem. My sister took photos, photos from her second visit to his home country, tickets, I myself send a long letter and also a photo when he visited me at the hospital, etc. Also do screen shots from chatting with your wife on webcam.

The more the better! This is what u will do at the appeal so why not do it at the interview as well and save yourself sometime and lots of money.

Giving back your husband documents that I assume you already provided when you sponsored him is a good sign. Does your husband live in Damascus or Lebanon. How many months did it take him to be invited to the interview.
Best of luck with the approval.

Hey 04102008 ,
Welcome to the forum, I am Lebanese too, and my husband is sponsoring me, he is Lebanese too.
concerning your husband interview, well there nothing certain with immigration, each case is held separately, you have to see with your husband, how the interview went, was he able to answer all the question, did you already sent enough proof when you filed the application, how the officer attitude was, was your husband relax...
maybe he didn't look to the new proof because he has already enough proof, but he needed to clarify something, and by the way most of the Lebanese man being sponsored go into interview , I guess because of past war, politic, I don't know, but that is what I notice here.
By the way the Lebanese on this forum are very few, I guess 5 including me, not sure, so thanks for joining..:)
If it isn't a problem for you, can you share the questions that your husband had been asked in the interview, so we can get an idea what they ask.
Can you share your timeline as well, it will help too.
Good luck
