As we can see from the 10th draw, the points are not going to fall to 400 in the nearest future.

So the last hope left is Ontario nomination. I suggest to share our letters of intent to reside in Ontario.

But all of us should be ready to lose these 1500$ For sure that's a risk.

Good luck to all of us

Folks please tell me how do you see you've received the PT notif in your express entry profile? I heard they sometines come without emails.

When you logged in to your EE account you just scroll down to the bottom and find the column "messages". If you have a message you will see the mark "new"

Plus, a coupla not-so-close relatives who has been supportive enough to write me letters and send me documents proving their residence in the ON. Any ideas if these would be convincing?

Hi ,

Can please anyone let me know within how many days one should get an acknowledgement from Ontario after sending the PT application package?

I received PT on 4th Aug, my package was delivered on 20th Aug , but no reply from them yet regarding acknowledgment of reception of application.

How did you guys receive an acknowledgement , hard copy letter or email?

How shall I proceed further?

I have a PT invitation from Ontario but never been to Canada and have no ties to Ontario.

Hi Russian,
Have you submitted your application to Ontario at the end ?
Was it successful ?

I am also looking for help in this regard.

I got PT notification from Ontario, I am wondering what I can write in the ties to Ontario. I had been to Canada once and my employer's one office is there in Ottawa. Is that gonna be enough ?

Also is this just have to be a letter on a plane paper ?

Yes plain paper. Something that can guide you:

I am Xxxxx. At the time of my application submission, I am 28 years old male. I am well qualified applicant, with 18 years of full-time education. Hi guys,

Can anybody clarify, whether I should have a job offer from Ontario if I want to apply for OINP or just a letter of Intent can suffice?

I have received PT notification.

Thanks

No, job offer is not required.

More info here : http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNP_EE_CAPITAL.html

Hi Farazh89,

Could you kindly send me the exact link on the website where it says that a job offer is not required to apply for OINP.

Because i was reading the link you have sent me and it states as mentioned below:

Fees charged by Ontario
The application fee for Ontario Human Capital Priorities Stream candidates is $1,500. The application fee is per application. The fee must be submitted with the application package or the application will be considered incomplete and returned to you. All fees must be made payable to the Ontario Minister of Finance.
The province of Ontario offers various options under the Provincial Nominee Program like:
General Category
International Student category

The Ontario PNP is an employer-driven program in that candidates cannot apply unless they have a permanent full-time job offer from an Ontario employer.

There is a two-step process to nomination.
Step1: Ontario employers must complete the pre-screen application process & they must obtain approval for the positions they wish to fill.
Step2: If the positions are approved, the Ontario employer must recruit foreign skilled workers to fill the positions.
If you get selected, you may then apply to the Opportunities Ontario PNP for a nomination.

Thanks

Hi, for OINP please refer to below application guide. Section 2 : Eligibility Criteria , nowhere does it mention that job offer is required.
