Etobicoke Landing Experience March 2019

I just sent an email to ETOBICOKE office today making follow up regarding my request for an appointment. They replied back to me immediately with below:

Good Day,

Thank you for your email. Please be advised that all schedules have been finalized for this calendar year.
Your landing date will be provided to you via email sometime in January or February of 2020.

So, I think no possibility to do landing with IRCC this month.

Orignal request was sent here Nov 28 - IRCC.pra-rvpr.ircc@cic.gc.ca

Depending on the address you mentioned on the request, they will transfer to a specific IRCC office that is near to your location.
In my case, ETOBICOKE office.

Request was transferred to this office Dec 02 - Etobicoke-CIC-APR@cic.gc.ca

So I went to 1000 islands today. It was a great experience. No traffic no queue and polite officers.

I did my landing today at Rainbow bridge. Arrived at the bridge by 7 PM then came back to Canadian border by 7:10 PM. Received my papers and asked me to go the other building. Inside the building, they took my documents and asked me to sit in the waiting area. There were 5 persons waiting there but I didn't ask their business. I was removing my scarf and coat but then other officer called my name so I kept my coat on. The officer asked the same questions listed in the COPR and answered back. He asked me to put my initials on the 2 questions and signed at the bottom for the 2 COPR. He filled some fields and dates and signed both documents. Stamped my passport and returned back my documents. It took around 5-10 mins max and I am done. Done linking the PR Card application also in my MyCIC account so I can monitor the status.
