Again, unless you have a US green card - the eTA is fake. You won't be able to board the plane to Canada. The airline systems will show you have no eTA.

What nationality are you given ETAs are only available to visa exempt passport holders.

I’ve been issued an eta as well. I applied fir student visa and got my approval in status with no passport request and just an eta. I have a valid US tourist visa and a Canadian tourist visa. Is that why I’ve been issued an eta?

No, as they have said above, you can't get ETA unless you have a green card or hold a powerful passport, such as a European passport.

The best thing you can do is to go to the Canada embassy or to its official office and tell them your story and see what they will tell you.
