Hi all!

I'm trying to fill out the eTA form for the first time (I'm a Polish citizen).

I have previously visited Canada few times only for a single day each time and I was crossing the border by car (I was living in US on a non-immigration visa fairly close to Canadian border). Most of the times when I was entering Canada I got a stamp in my passport. Since I was entering Canada by car I didn't have to fill out the eTA before.

Now when I'm trying to fill out the eTA I have problem with this question:
"Have you ever applied for or obtained a visa, an eTA or a permit to visit, live, work or study in Canada?"

Can anyone advice what is the correct answer in my case?

If I answer YES there is a follow up question:
"Unique client identifier (UCI) / Previous Canadian visa, eTA or permit number (optional)"

The problem is that I never got any unique number as I only got a standard stamp in my passport.

Thanks a lot for help,
Magda
