I asked them "How can I check my ECAS status online?"
Buffalo VO replied :
There is no system for checking the status of applications processing outside Canada.

So what is this ECAS everybody is talking about? ;D ;D ;D

Hi every one,

Information for all IN PROCESS cases without receiving 2nd AOR. Comments of shekool are as under:

I havent received the 2nd AOR but the visa office confirmed receipt - via email - of my documents submitted. Their respone was "The file is in process and review and you will be contacted if I have any new instructions to pass on to you"

Here is a link where you may check it

http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/may-2010-applicants-t40510.4530.html

So it is confirmed by VO and it means this is not an error. I think all applicants who receive 2nd AOR or did not receive 2nd AOR but their status is IN PROCESS without mentioning date is right. And we hope that picture may be more clear with in next 15 days.

Mine too, it changed from In Process to Received by Visa Office but the Visa office by itself confirmed me by e-mail that it is in process so the system doesn't really works at all.
