Error in Ecas status

Hi everyone,


Buffalo office replied for my inquiry as per CIC the 2nd AOr will take 30 weeks...after you sent the full docs... Goodluck to all...

Hi angel! Does this 30week period apply only to your VO? Because from the other thread that of Manila VO only takes 2 to 3 weeks to 2nd AOR after submission of full docs, just curious.

well I sent a case specific enquiry on Januray 30,2011 about the recently updated e-cas and Today on January 31 they replied. My email was :

" I am so confused with the recent update of my e-cas which has updated on Jan 25,2011. My e-cas was "Centralize Intake Office Review Complete" before but on Jan 25,2011 "In Process" added there too. But when I click on In Process there is only one line that is " We received your application on April 14,2010" nothing more then that. Moreover,my e-cas was never "Received by visa office" though I received my 2nd AOR on November 22,2010 and got my second file number. But still now I could not able to check my e-cas with the new file number. I have to check with my old file number which was B********* . I sent another enquiry before regarding this matter and got a reply that, when my file will be in process I'll be able to check my e-cas with the new file number. Now my e-cas is showing "In Process" but I'm unable to check e-cas with new file number. So I'm very much confused,is this updated e-cas is an error or it is normal? I look forward to hearing from you."

and they replied me :

"Dear Sir,

Your application is pending review. Please wait to hear from us.

Your new file number is E*********
Please note that we are NOT able to acknowledge receipt and respond to requests for information on the routine progress of your application unless your application is not proceeding normally.
We will not respond to similar future requests.
Thank you for your interest in Canada.

Is this means that my case actually is not " In Process " they are still pending for review? What exactly they mean by pending for review?

pending review means your case is waiting to go in process but not in process at the moment.

Thank you pittabread. Today my e-cas is " Decision Made" and the full test is

" We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 29, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."

Now I'm so worried why it became decision made so soon without medical .... I hope its an error.

It's likely that you will have negative decision. As I read from a certain post that you should be worried if a decision has been made prior to medical. Hope I'm not right. Nevertheless, pray that it's the other way around.

Don't worry much. I agree it might be an error. We've soon so many errors in eCas recently. Relax and hope all is fine in your case.

this 30 weeks applied only to Buffalo office..each offices has their own processing times..ok cheers thnaks..Hope all we got our awaited 2nd Aor...and buffalo has the slowest offices..among all.for manila offices i heard they are one of the quickest visa offices too. so congrats..

Hi guys!

I think there is some error in ecas status. My full docs were received by london office on 9 dec 2010. I haven't received 2nd AOR yet. I just checked the ecas status and its saying in process and the following information is available.

"We received your application for permanent residence on May 13, 2010.

Medical results have been received.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review."

Any comments....

Hi Angel! Never mind if we do have different waiting time, as long as we all get our VISAS! All the best! BTW, we do have the same NOC.

@Classical_beat, I get the same status. Just after 3/4 days of "IN PROCESS", now it is showing "DECISION MADE". Now I am feeling frustrated to get this decision so early. Hope and Pray that it is a system error.

I'm getting the strong feeling its an error......Rest I leave to Allah....I hope things will sort out soon.
