right now its 1 week
but if application is postal there may be few days of quarantine after which BLS will take the application

Should be fine but you never know. Keep checking BLS portal for updates.
Hope you have surrendered Indian passport
because the surrender certificate or Surrender certificate application is required for processing entry visa

Thank you for your response. Yes I have sent in both the application for surrender and entry visa. Hopefully, I get my entry visa prior to my departure, or I would lose money on flight cancellation and re-booking.

i think it should be fine as long as required documents are there
In physical submission bls does not even look at checklist
