Mine just changed to Processing at Consulate General. Now the wait begins for consulate to process and print

Anybody here know whether we could apply for entry visa without SC. Heard BLS surrey and Brampton accepted applications. Would like to anyone have recent experience. Thanks

Yes, you can apply. Just carry an ack slip if you have submitted in person or an application page if postal for confirmation.

Can you share your experience at bls brampton, for “walk in”. How long u have to wait for your turn ??

By walk-in, I meant that I went in person. I had an appointment.
But I do know ppl were there since 4 in the morning.

SC is not needed for Entry Visa. BLS Brampton I called and confirmed with them and there checklist also does not include SC.

Aaah.. can you ask them if I can apply for 6 months' visa somehow (with surrender certificate in process)? I need 6 months' visa and hence it would be great to understand that..

I had someone who lined up in front of me at Surrey BLS yesterday. She called BLS before coming as she had confirmation that she can use her barcode receipt. When she was asked at the counter for SC, she asserted herself that BLS gave her this direction, so they took her application. If you have your indian passport scanned in your phone, simply offer them that you can email it to them.
