entry of new born baby in mother's passport in canada

hello guys, I want to know how much time it takes to enter new born baby name in mother's passport for travelling?
my baby will be born in Canada and after that her mother will come to PAkistan, so I want to know exactly how much time and whats the procedure to do this? and any website for this?

if ur baby was born in canada then he can have her own canadian passport and he can get pakistan visa stamped on the passport it usually takes 15 day to get passport back u can get visa in 24 hours thts in toronto. hope it helps

thanks bro for reply, yes my baby wil be born in Toronto or Mississauga depends on hospital, so ur saying new born baby will get his/her Canadian passport in 15 days? and 24 hrs for Pakistani visa?
my cousin hows sonw as born in montreal he came back to Pakistan after 2 months, he said he was waiting for the visa of his son, so are u sure it takes 15 days?

yess becoz im in toronto when my daughter was born in toronto she was citizen but when i applied for her paport she was 10 months when i went to apply for pasport i took wid me a itenary ticket showing the date i was going to travel soo i got it wid in 10 days then next day i went to pakistani embassy applied for 3month visa and they said u can pik it up the next day i payed 105 dollars for visa and 85 dollors for urgent passport but their is one thing the form has to be signed by both parents if one parent i not in the country they have to go to canadian embassy and sign a form the embassy will then issue the passport otherwise they cant becoz thts wht happen wid my daughter my husband went to canadian embasy signed form then she got passport. ask ur wife to call the passport office see wht they say when i applied it wasin 2010

Requirements for Pakistani Visa

Visa application form along with valid passport

In All visa applications clear copy of the data page (Page with applicant photograph and data) of passport should be submitted.
In case of visa application of Pakistani with decent, copy of Pakistan CNIC or Passport should be submitted of at least one parent.
Incase visa is being claimed on bases of marriage to Pakistani national, Please bring original marriage certificate and copy of original ID card of Pakistani spouse to the consulate.
Issuance of visa is not a right, it is the prorogation of the Govt. of Pakistan.
Passport should be valid at least than 6 months.
Pakistani Visa are issued to Canadian Passport/Travel Document holders only.
Passport holders of other countries must posses a “Valid Canadian Permanent Resident Card " for being eligible to apply for visa in Consulate General of Pakistan Toronto.
Completely filled in and signed application submitted by the applicant personally or through registered / courier mail.
Note: Applicants sending their documents through mail should invariably enclose a pre-paid, self-addressed registered / courier envelope.


Passport size colored photograph

- Two identical recent passport size colored photographs, stamped by a photographer in Canada, taken within past three months. (A Private Photographer facility is also available in Consulate General of Pakistan, Toronto)


Supporting documents

FOR BUSINESS VISA:
- Provide details of business and invitation letter from the host/associate company/organization in Pakistan.
- Provide introductory letter from the employer in Canada.
FOR JOURNALIST VISA:
- Letter from the employer detailing the purpose of the visit.
- Brief summary of assignment to be under taken in Pakistan.
- Detail of places to be visited in Pakistan.
- Journalist visa application available at the Mission.
NON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATION (NGO)
- Introductory letter from the employer in Canada / the purpose of the visit.
- An invitation letter from host NGO in Pakistan.

- NGO Visa applications are processed after approval from Pakistan.
STUDENT VISA
- Proof of admission in an academic institute of Pakistan.
- NOC from the Ministry of Education / Economic Affair Division Government of Pakistan.
- Police clearance certificate from the home country.

Note: Applications can be sent by mail along with all required documents, fee and a return pre-paid, self-addressed courier envelope.


Fees (for Canadian Passport)

Note: Fee is acceptable in the form of Bank Draft, Money Order, or Certified Check in the favour of Consulate General of Pakistan. However, to facilitate the applicants, Habib Canadian Bank's booth at the Consulate General of Pakistan, Toronto, prepares bank draft and charges $5 fee. The Bank also aceepts debit or credit cards and cash during the document submission timings ie 0915-1215 hrs.

Delivery Time

- Visit visa to Canadians citizens of Pakistani origin is issued in one working day. Visa application processing time for non-visitor categories for passport/Travel Document holders of Canada varies from case to case.

- Residents of Ottawa & rest of Canada except for the provinces of Ontario & Quebec are requested to prepare the Bank Draft / Money Order in the name of "High Commission of Pakistan, Ottawa"
- Residents of Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia submitting their application to the missions in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are requested to prepare the Bank Draft / Money Order in the name of "Consulate General of Pakistan"

Note: Please retain your receipt issued from the Consulate General / High Commission for the collection of documents

Yes, ur cousin is right, I guess it will take about a month to get everything.....she cant apply apply for passport until she has birth certificate and she will get that in a week i believe and then she will apply for Canadian passport she can get an urgent one in 2 days but then she will need to show ticket and tell whats the emergency, and then when she applies they will ask u to go to canadian high commission in pakistan and sign a forum there. ones u sign the forum they will issue the passport in about 2 days. and then she can apply for visa which i have heard that u can get at the same day.....
ps: i went to apply for urgent Canadian passport for my daughter when my brother in law passed away i had booked the flight and begged them to issue me a passport i even paid the urgent fees but they did not issue a passport. they say dad has to go to high commission and sign only then they will issue her passport. he still have not gone and i still dont have her passport.....so u be prepared to go to embassy ones ur wife apply for canadian passport.

u can awell apply for urgent birthcertificate aswell but the short form u have to how them proof y u want urgent brth certificate and then they will issue it for u and u can get it in 3-4 working days when i applyed coupl of years ago i paid 55 dollars and they gave me the short from in 3 working days u can call and ask them

Aslaam-o-Alaequm,

i have a question that i m traveling to pakistan with my wife and a 13 months old son who borns in canada.

I got Pakistani passport, NIC Card (not NICOP) which is expired & Canadian Residence Card.

My wife got Canadian Passport and NICOP Card.

We just got canadian passport for my son.

Now the question is that; Do we need pakistani visa for my son that has to be issued in canada or we can get in pakistan on arrival.

Moreover, if my son need visa in canada then how much time it will take and what are the requirements as we are flying 6 feb 2015 next month.

any help will be appriciated.
