It is hard to get an employer to apply for an LMO for you unless they really need you. The reason is also that the employer has to prove that they could not find a Canadian to do your job and they usually do not want to bother unless they really can not get a Canadian to do your job. Maybe your son could get you a job offer. If your son is a PR or citizen, he can also sponsor you for PR but it will take some time.

hi, i landed in this site because my husband who is working in taiwan wants to work in canada. Most of his roommates are doing the same thing. They have a roommate who is now working in Canada. What bother me is that. They have a person who will process all their papers, find jobs for them in canada but they will pay him for around 300,000 in philippine peso. Is this ok? Well, there are lots of people who paid this person and they really got the visa and the job he promised. But i would like to ask if any of you know another option, which is not so costly. thank you

I want to work in some entry level administrative assistant jobs in Toronto. but I did not studied this type of course and i have been an university graduate in economics . I have seen elsewhere that there are professional diploma like : Business Administrative profession , for example,courses offered by the some career college in Toronto. will these degree make us prepared for landing on those positions? could you please give us some idea on co-op program

The Brian J Fleming Adult Catholic Education Center in Mississauga (Port Credit) offers an Administrative co-op program with a 6 week internship as well as an accounting co-op program focused on Simply Accounting.

If the student has an off campus work permit, he is allowed to do any job up to 20 hours a week during the semester and full time during holidays. It could be hard to get a 20 hours a week job in a factory. In my experience they seem to prefer and mostly have full time staff. In a call centre it might be an option and in a store, stocking shelves or whatever I think it would definitely be an option. It should also be easy to get a part time job in a restaurant.

does factory job's need heavy lifiting around 20 KG'S???? is suitable for college going student??? and can i know what are the hourly wage rates in those factory job's..???/

Like I said in the reply you just quoted, I think it may be hard to get a 20 hr. a week job in a factory as they seem to prefer full time staff. A factory job could involve lifting 20kg or more depending on what the factory is making and what your position there is. In my experience or from what I have heard, factories generally pay a bit better than fast food places but the fast food places should be easier to get a job at, offer flexible shifts and often offer discount on food if you eat there.
