Entering Canada from US

1.Did the CBP officer ask her proof of Canada PR status?
2.She entered US by air and left US by land. I read on CBP site that if you do that your departure from US may not be recorded
correctly.

1) The officer did not ask for proof of status.
2) Yes she entered US by air and exited by land. I have done that several times but I am able to view my entry exit in the I-94 although in the departure column port sometimes it is a number or unavailable mentioned.
