There's no black and white answer. You can try - it's possible you may be allowed in and also possible you could be turned away and told to return closer to the start of your classes.
You cannot work until your classes begin. So if you are entering five months early, CBSA will likely want to see that you have additional funds available to support yourself without working during this time.

Hello Can I ask one question. I got letter of acceptance from Seneca(start in september), but I will finish University in july in my country , can I apply for viza earlier before summer with statement from university that I am studying at engineering faculty. Thank you
