Enquiry of the Flow of Submitting Hong Kong Police Certificate

In terms of the Police Certificate from Hong Kong, it is required to upload a letter in eAPR requesting an acknowledgement from IRCC, with which the applicant then applies for the Police Certificate with the Hong Kong Police.

May I ask how the letter from IRCC would be delivered to applicant, by post or email?

The applicant would receive a message in myCIC. It would be "we need an add doc from you", and the letter would be in pdf format.
