I am about to submit one English Proficiency Letter instead of IELTS, i need advise from you all.

I want if they ignore my letter, then give me Time for take IELTS, but same time, i don't want that my letter just represnt as request of extension only. I have prepared whole letter with number of reference letters and explanation.

Just hope to be on safe side, i have wrote at the end of letter , ( I am sure my English language proficiecny and skills are proof of my claimed "language proficiecny points". If still you are not satisfy, i am ready for take IELTS)

What do you think, writing this paragraph at end, would give any positive advantage ( in case if cic refuse my letter, then MAYBE, they give me chace and time for take IELTS) .... or it would go against to me, as IO will think i must take IELTS and igore fully my letter??

Need your advise. Thanks in advance.

if your native language is not english, the probability of getting IELTS exemption is low but there's no harm in trying. you won't know until you try. good luck.

I advise you not to write it in this way (grammar construction), your case will be rejected (they will give you zero). In these lines alone there are numerous mistakes. Cool down Man.

Yes. Not only your letter but your case, I guess.

Need your advise. Thanks in advance.

Thanks your for link. Posts on this thread are a good hope for people who are unable to take IELTS for some reasons.

Yes, i am agree with you. Actually i took IELTS and and got 9.0 points only , while i am in need of 12. Now there is no time for take and try other one, as dead line is too near. So as you said, no harm in try. We should keep positive.

Take the test! It's the only way to claim 16 points... Don't take any chances...

Regards.

Thank , i know this fact, i got 9.0 from IELTS while I am in need of 12, not 16, so let see. If its refusal, then it is, even with letter or without letter.

mahharrouf,
haven't you read the previous posts of those who sent only letters instead of IELTS?
the IO only gave them a maximum of 8, and others ZERO.
don't risk it, take the IELTs again and try to get a better score.

Thank you for reply, yes you are right. My situation is , i cant take other one within deadline, i got 9 even without any prepration, and if i little more practice, i am sure i can get 12, problem is now time. I consult seniors here and they told me no extension after 120 days, my 120 days are to be finish after 15 days while for IELTS, i need atleast 45 days to be complete with result. So this is why i am going through Letter, you can see above, i am going to write about IELTS too, if they refuse my letter that maybe they give me chance for take IELTS again.

would it be better if you register for ielts test and send it with a letter that you can not take the ielts before the deadline?

Thanks, i was thinking on this point. Do you think in this case " Letter" would still have any importance? If i register for IELTS , it would be second IELTS with wintn 3 months, IELTS result sheet contains record if candidate has taken previous any test. Do you think would be a matter if i will submit second result and dont event mention first one ? Just in case...

when i say letter, i mean make one to explain that you have scheduled the IELTS but it will be submitted later than the deadline for documents.
they will always go for the most recent test result.

If you go to the link I gave, you see that speaking 5.5 gives you 2 points, listerning 5 gives you 1, reading 5 gives you 2 and writing 5 gives you 1 so total you have 2+1+2+1 = 6 points
