Thanks for the information. I wasn't aware of this process. Even if CHC ND has send the remed letter through normal post then it would have been recieved at the address as someone is already available at my home to take the delivery.
How to check whether CHC ND has send the remed letter?
 
We wrote a mail to them asking about the status of our application...they replied that my med are awaited. We replied with details of medicals done with receipts.

Then they reverted that they had send the remed letter three months back...

We requested them to resend the same and eventually got it.

May be you can ask on an update on timelines to get visa....

Hi Navneet,

I know that it is very frustrating to wait after pp submission. Even I have waited almost 22 months for my background checks. Moreover my foreign travel history was NIL. This month I got my re-medicals. Wish you best of luck.

Your case is of MI1 while mine is of MI3 and it seems MI has been converted to 'Mission Impossible'. Main concern is that I am not able to take any overseas assignment in my current organization leaving negative impact of me. I am trying to sail in two boats but now I fear of falling in the river.

I am sorry for being negative all the time but I am really depressed.

have you got your passport back for re-madical ?

in my case my madical was expire and passport with NDVO , not get re madical or passport

Unless you got a mail from NDVO regarding your remed you can't get your medicals done. Also, there is no need to have passport back for remeds. I confirmed with the DMP and they confirm that for remeds they require only passport copy not originals.
Just wait to hear from NDVO for remeds.

As of date no update. NDVO people are just full of bull****. Don't have any timelines nor give appropriate response.
 
I have not received any communication from CHC, NDVO. But my DMP called and instructed me to undergo remedicals. She told me that CHC, NDVO called her and informed her about the remedicals for me (only for me, Principal Applicant). She asked me to come and take Sputum test and come again after 60 days for CXR. I have completed both.

The question I have here is

Do we get any communication from CHC, NDVO about remedicals?

I just want to make sure that I have not been misdirected by DMP.
 
gopalra - Usually this is not the norms...e.g in our case the NDVo had sent us a postal/sealed mail with the remeds info which is actually to be opened only by the Doc , whose name is writtn i nthe communication...

Not sure, if DMP can directly say this that they recvd a call from NDVO...although DMP themselves can say that the tests were negative nd u shud come for a re-test but not sure if they on the behalf of NDVo say this..
 
I am also in same boat sent all docs. PP,visa etc etc on 16th july 2012. Its almost 4months now.

No update.... wait is all we have on us at the moment
