All Senior Members,

It is very frustrating to wait for 7 months after passport submission. Even after raising CSE I got the response that your medical results are pending review by visa officer. There is no status update in ecas.

Can anyone guide me what to do in this case? I am really losing hope in canadian immigration system. I am thinking of withdrawing my case. At least I would have my passports back.

Thanks,
Navneet

How can it be possible to not lose hope after seven months of submission of passports?

Can I request seniors to respond what should I do in this case?

you can try sending a letter to the program manager , explaining how your case has exceeded their published processing time and requesting them to finalize at earliest..other than that there is nothing much you could do.

do u really want to withdraw after waiting so long and being so close ? have you ordered GCMS/CAIPS?

I am frustrated with the processing time. All of my friends who applied after me got their visa and they have landed a couple of months ago.

I am not sure whether I understand Program Manager. Whom to address and what are the contact details of Program Manager? I appreciate if you could pass on these details.

Navneet, I am also waiting for the past 6 months since submitting my passports except for the fact that I belong to MI-1 and you belong to MI-2. So, practically speaking, you should get your passports before I do because, at present, NDVO is working hard in clearing MI-2 and MI-3 before they could start MI-1. Based on the statistics that I am seeing in this forum posted by other members, NDVO is trying to clear all our queue before this year end so that they can start new quota starting next year with a clean slate. In addition, back in June, I received two emails in response to my CSE to NDVO. Both the response stated that "even though we have started processing your application, we may not be able to finalize until the end of 2012". So, in my opinion, it would be prudent to wait till Feb 2013 before taking further action. I know its easy to talk but, this is the best path to take at this moment. Hope this helps.

It is been 4 months since I submitted my passport. I was in abroad, submitted my passport during my vacation. I couldnt join any job here because I dont know the timeframe. Sailing in the same boat. Dont loose heart. Definitely they will send u the PP stamped. Plz enquire the hospital where u did medicals whether they had sent the reports. Because same thing happened to my friend. Hope v all get PP soon.

hi guys it is not only NDVO that is taking so long to return passport i am from bogota VO and i submitted my passport 4 months ago and still waiting for return i ordered caips two month ago and on them it says medical have pass but security not started yet

Hi Navneet,

I also got similar response from VO after 4 months of sending PP, that my medical is awaited. And believe me, it was really frustating. I did my first med in May. On further communication with VO, we came to know that they had send remed to us, which we never received. We requested them to resend the remed letter.
and after almost five months we got med received line....

Since your med results are awaited after seven months, you can check on the possibility of lost remed letter.

Take Care

Just to update you that I belong to MI-3 and on CSE I got the response that my medical results are pending review by visa officer. Even without getting any response to wait for 6-12 months I am waiting for more than 7 months. Anyways, thanks for consoling me.

There seems to be no possibility of lost remed letter as I have authorised CHC NDVO to communicate via email. There is no paper contact process.

Remed letters are send through normal mail... and are sealed...to be opened by DMP directly....All our other communication was through email....we also never expected anything from regular mail.....
