Aaaargh! Reading all this means that we have a huge number of documents that we could have avoided having to get! We have managed to procure reference letters from all our previous employers so I guess there's no point in changing it now.

Its good to upload all. May be one of your jobs is not found appropriate with duties under NOC you mentioned, then other job will save you. Officer will just recalculate scores after verifying all jobs which are okay with your NOC.

Hi Guys

Sorry to jump on this thread but i need help. I am in the process of removing all my WE to the PE section.

Below is an extract from my Application:

[CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 50]

The question is does the above mean i have been scored for my Foreign WE? If yes does that mean i cannot move it? Also it is listed under the spouse and not under the PA. Does this mean that i need to keep both mine and PAs WE in the WE section???

Thanks

Yes, you claimed points for Foreign work experience, I would be really careful if I were you with whatever you're planning to remove from the work history section.

Ok then. Do you think i should keep them in WE section and PE section?

Also will i need a reference letter for every job i have held? The problem i have is my last company is liquidated so i cant actually get a reference letter and i dont want my current employer to know i am planning to immigrate until it is confirmed as it could cause problems....

You will need a reference letter for every job included in the work history section.

If you're confident you're not claiming points for certain work experience move it to the personal history section instead.

thanks - is this for both PA and spouse or just PA?
The dependent's foreign work experience does not provide any points whatsoever. You can freely move that work experience to the personal history section.

Correct unless you're claiming points for the Canadian work experience of your spouse.

Hi guys, I need your help please.

In my EE profile I included my part time work experience as a research assistant between 2011-2015, during university and 2 years following graduation. I graduated in 2013. However the hours were around 15/week, so I was not granted any points for it in my EE profile.

Now that I received my ITA, I do not want to include the research assistant position under my work history as I was not awarded any points for it, and only have it under personal history. I only wish to include my skilled work experience under my work history.

Also, in my EE profile the research assistant position is listed from October 2011-April 2015. After I submitted my profile I realized that I signed individual contracts for each school year, so in the personal history section of my post ITA application I entered this job under 4 separate entries representing each school year, from October to April.

Do you think I will run into any problems for this discrepancy? Will I be penalized for misinterpretation?

Thank you for your help!

For clarity This is my points breakdown:

Overall Score 460
CRS - Human Capital - Age 85
CRS - Human Capital - Level of Education 119
CRS - Human Capital - First Official Language Proficiency 128
CRS - Human Capital - Second Official Language Proficiency 0
CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience 0
CRS - Spouse - Level of Education 8
CRS - Spouse - First Official Language Proficiency 20
CRS - Spouse - Canadian Work Experience 0
CRS - Skill Transferability - Education 50
CRS - Skill Transferability - Foreign Work Experience 50
CRS - Skill Transferability - Certificate of Qualification 0

Do you see anything suspect there...? Cheers
