Employment letter

Hi all,

I am about to submit my initial application to cio, under AEO, it is said that i have to attach my employment letter along with the hrdsc approval letter, I have only one original copy of employment offer letter dated dec.2008, and got the approval letter from hrdsc on feb.2009, can i send the notarized copy of this employment letter to cio, and the original letter to the visa office for further processing. kindly advice

u dnt need to send Employment Letter to CIO.

Letters would be sent at second stage while sending Docs to CHC.

All Letters would be in xerox except Reference Letters.

how do you folks manage this empoyment thing.....i have been looking/searching with every light under earth to get an employer in canada....i also wonder why they are no job placement firms of this sort in canada....pls share, how did u get your job? thanks alot.

so ur saying to send only xerox copies of papers which is required by cio, no need to be notarized, clear this please.

my previous application was rejected, because my experience letter did not say anything about my duties and responsibilities, i am about to reapply now, can anyone please guide, give me an idea of what they really expect in that letter , if i have one i will make the draft accordingly and ask my employers to sign it.

Here is my 2-3-4 cents.....

If you are applying to CIO .. send the original job offer letter and check it thoroughly. Keep a notorized copy with u ... dont take chance.

I did send the job offer letter to CIO along with AEO but my job offer letter had expected date of joining as 23th March so they returned my application saying that she will not get PR till march .. so we got the job extension and sent the papers again .. now i m waiting for AOR.

Even, I am frustrated like you ... I started the process in June last year ... and till now i am simply nowhere .. didn't even get AOR from NS and people who have started with me (having NOC in 38 list) have already got PR.... I fear of loosing my job in canda if I didnt get the PR soon.

About, reference letter .. try to explain the NOC (written in AEO) duties in your letter as points and also get a letter with detail explanation of duties matching NOC from your supervisor.
this is what I am trying to get from my employer ... doon know if I will get that or now
