Hi guys,
I've been looking at the employment letter that I sent with my application, and am worried that it may be "too close" to the duties as listed in the NOC, even though I worded it differently. I've seen a post where someone got called for misrepresentation because the letter was copied word for word from the NOC, and this has got me very concerned. Could the seniors here take a look at this, and share your opinion?
My NOC is 5124 (2006) and 1123 (2011). My letter lists the following duties:
• Developing and implementing communication strategy for XXXXX Project participant recruitment
• Devising advertising campaigns for print and electronic media
• Researching and preparing communications material such as brochures, newsletters and formal correspondence for internal and external audiences
• Preparing reports, briefing notes, presentations, web content and press releases
• Managing and maintaining the Project’s social media outlets i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube
• Initiating contact with the media from across the province, as well as responding to inquiries
• Managing media requests and coverage, including identifying appropriate spokespeople for interviews
• Giving presentations, showing videos and answering questions about the study for information and enrolment purposes
• Developing key messaging, speaking notes, etc., in consultation with funding partners, corporate sponsors, government officials and stakeholders
Thanks for all the help!
