Employer letter for secondary applicant is mandatory?

My husband is the secondary applicant . Do we need to get the job letter for him as well?

Yes if Canadian work experience and you claimed points for such work experience.

If foreign then no, remove such work experience from the work history section and add it in the personal history section. Such work experience is irrelevant to your application.

Only if you're claiming points for his Canadian work experience. If he doesn't have Canadian work ex., you don't need a letter. Just make sure you put his work experience in personal history, and not under work experience.
