Hi,

I am planning to apply for a Young Professionals visa with an employer in Canada.

The employer has to get approved from IRCC to submit an offer. They sent the papers on April 22th however they're still waiting for approval.

Any Idea about how long more will this take?

They are stuck in this step:
After an enrolment request is processed

Once your enrolment is processed by IRCC, you should receive an email notifying you if your request was approved or refused.

Note: Emails to Employer Portal users are sent from donotreply@cic.gc.ca. Make sure that this address is on your safe sender list and that these emails will not automatically be sent to your junk mail or delete folder.

Check Employer Portal enrolment guide for more info.

Please help

I remember this step was a pain for us too. Just went back and the email came through on the same day - literally one line to say the enrolment was complete.

Try to go to the next step, if your account is active it will let you - the email contains no information or instructions that you will need to proceed

thank you so much for the answer. I even went to a conference in the embassy in my country and asked an immigration officer she seemed confused.

Any idea over your head how long did it took? Since the employer started the application

Basically once you sort your portal issues out, all you need to do is enter some fairly basic employer info, some more employee info, pay the fee and it is done.

Note - when you pay the fee and submit the actual offer into the system, you don't get an approval email (I was waiting for one for a couple of days) you just take the offer number from the portal and use that for your permit application.

The whole thing can be done in a day (if you aren't sat around waiting for an approval email that doesn't exist!)

Thank you so much.

This process seems confusing I didn't expect to take this long for the Employer to have full access at the Employer's portal.

I'll post once I know it's done so people can have an idea about how long this would take.

So may I ask - does that mean that once my employer registers on the employer portal, we will have to first wait until we get an email that they have been processed by CIC and only then they'll be able to submit an offer for me? How long does one wait for that email confirming registration/processing?

G'day people maybe I'm on The wrong thread but i was looking through other ones but couldnt find someone related to my question. I applied under international agreement FTA and my employer already sent The application through The Employer Portal, I wonder how long does It take to receive The Exemption # That starts with letter A plus other few Numbers.

When i started filling the IMM1295 in one of The blanks i need to out such number. Any idea how long It takes ?
Thank you

Yes, my employer has been waiting since 22th of April. 29 Days. They still are unable to create the job offer so I can get the ID number.

I honestly think there's something wrong. I'd suggest to start the process right now.

Please, let me know if it takes such a long time for your employer.

If it's the same case that a Young Professional visa, the number will be created automatically. It's in the job offer queue of your employer. They won't receive an email.

Thank you so much my friend , yea Its weird that thing . I will ask my employer about that number on queue and start The process asap , Because they want me to start in August and apparently takes two month process . CIC could be a nightmare sometimes.

Ok so just to confirm, does that mean the employer first has to get that confirmation email and will not be able to submit the job offer for me unless they get it?

Hey! So what do you mean 'just went back' - you mean you went through the enrollmentprocess again, or did you just go ahead to try to submit tje job offer through the portal and it turned out to allow it (meaning the enrollment was successful but no email was received)?
