Employee Provident Fund - can I use it as a Proof of Funds?

Hi,

I am from the Philippines but currently working in Malaysia. We were entitled to have an EPF scheme here in Malaysia and I was wondering if could I use it as a Proof of Funds? Basically we are allowed to withdraw the money a (few) months before moving out of Malaysia but I would like to know if has anyone ever used their EPFs as proof of funds.

Well it has worked for many Indians
Even I am going to use the same. So I guess it should work for Malaysia as well.
