Folks - If this helps. This is an AUS govt. site: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/panel-doctors/
You can browse by countries and find the relevant info. Most of the doctors are also in CIC panel (http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx)

For doctors doing eMedical, you will find an "e" beside their name.

For those who have already completed their E-medical - how long does it take for end to end processing (means from day of medical to when CIC receives it) ? Is it possible for us to track the receipt on CIC side ?

Thanks.

I heard that this doc is really bad and his wife who handles the immigration papers is rude and always mess up the papers.... any one with a different experience....

Hello Friends,

I have gone for upfront Medical exams (eMedicals) and DMP generated a form which contains File number (UMI U******) and other details, but nothing about my File number or UCI.
Now Should I send this information as an additional document to my File so that they will refer this when it comes to Medical?

Thanks

I did my medicals with Dr. Dharmavathy Jegatheeswaran, Scarborough, ON.
Got the appointment quickly. She does eMedicals. Normally within a week to week and half, her office uploads results.
Doctor is very friendly.

They could speed up the overall process. But 7-10days to complete the whole process is still acceptable in my opinion.

Phone: (416) 298-9956
Fax: (416) 298-7224

1hr at DMP office + any additional waiting time

Hello Everyone,

I applied for PR in CEC in September, now I am planning to do Medicals Upfront as my passport is expiring soon, but my lawyer said CPP-O will be sending me personalized forms (I am assuming that means some forms with barcode that has my info in it) so I cannot get medicals done before they ask me to do it.

Since I am reading a lot of people are getting their medicals done beforehand, so anyone who has done Medicals, are your forms (the one they send in the email) personalized with some kind of barcode?

Also, what kind of documents/forms are needed for medicals (specially when doing it upfront)?

Thanks,
P

Your lawyer is trying to play it safe. CIC does send personalized form with MR. But you also have the option to do it before the request comes from CIC (which has its own pros and cons). Reach out to the CIC empaneled medical physician in your location and ask for getting upfront medical exam done. You simply need to carry your passport, give AOR / UCI number, photos will be clicked at the centre. After the exam, the physician gives you a notification with your photo and bar code printed on it. You need to send it to CIC to be attached to your file.

Does the MR states the visa office? I didn't see anything on mine

I saw a list of CIC panel doctors but wanted to know which doctor is friendly (in your experience) and offer e-medicals with fast turn-around time in Toronto & GTA? Btw, How is Dr Dharmavathy?

Please reply.
