Dear all,

I was thinking of upfront med but i checked with one doctar...he said for upfront they do paper application not emed as they need IMI NUM i dont know whats that.

Pls advise wat to say as i wan emed

They should be able to generate a unique IME number, no matter whether you're doing paper or e-medicals. Go elsewhere if they insist on paper results.

Doctor said in 7 days they will email scanned final report to CIC . Is that true or they have to upload results in some application/ system? If email is fine, do you know to which email I'd they will send results?

Hello Cecmar2013 , I went to same doctor as you, the receptionist also told me that doctor will upload e medical to CIC in 5 to 7 days, I asked the approve statment or result they dnt give me just said check online,they only will call if there any other requiment test needed, and they said I have to call back in 10 days, hope everything goes well. Could you share how was your result after all, is correct in 7 days the doctor upload

Not sure if this can work but can we do our eMedicals in our home country.

I applied in Canada with CPP-O as visa office but I may go for a visit to India during that time. Might be a good idea to finish it up since I'm already there. Won't do it until cent percent sure that they would accept my medicals from home country.

Any idea guys?

Depends on when the results get uploaded. It can take up to two or three weeks after uploading
the results for ECAS to reflect the information.

No, in most cases the clinic will not notify you. Give it a week or so and then call the clinic.

eMedical enabled CIC Panel physicians

Hello Everyone

I did my Medical from Al-Warood Medical Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia through eMedical Enabled Physician Dr. Sameh Ibrahim in January 2014. However, my application status is still showing "In Process". I have heard from many that CIC changes the status to "Medical Examination Results received...." etc. when the results are received by the CIC.

I will appreciate your kind comments and advice.
