Hi,
I eloped with my girlfriend and we got married because our parents didn't accept our relation as we come from different communities.
I want to sponsor her to immigrate to canada forever.
All we had on the day of marriage were two witnesses.
What are the chances of us getting a red flag?

Thank you

The marriage without family will be a red flag. You need to provide information which will show immigration that your relationship is genuine.
They will look at your backgrounds, age difference, educational difference, language, and many aspects. You need to show your history and how you came to develop your relationship One "red flag" doesn't mean your application won't pass, but if you know there are some weak areas in your application you must make every effort to show all your strong points and provide convincing proofs.
Your spouse may be called for an interview, so you should be ready for that.

What is the relationship history? How long have you been together, has it been online or in person, how did you meet, do any family/friends know about the marriage? Country of origin?

Well, we met each other about a year ago.We used to work together and we've been living together for over 3 months now. A few friends know about the marriage but not parents.
My parents are indian immigrants and she's on a student permit from pakistan.

if its makes you feel any better... Me and my husband eloped and got married here in Canada. i am from US and he is from Canada. My Parents didn't came to my wedding at first they didn't approved my marriage but eventually they invited both of us and had a little ceremony in my house in US. Applied Outland sponorship back in July 2016. got approved and i am landing next week in Canada. in my opinion, if you have lots of picture of you two together with friends and if you provide enough evidence to prove your relationship and marriage is genuine. i don't see any problem.

Living together is a big positive and will help offset any red flags.

I suggest you tell your parents about the marriage now. You will need to tell them at some point anyways and its better to be able to say that they at least know about the marriage even if they don't approve.

Please read through the following article and see how many of the red flags would apply in your case:

Not to say that you would be rejected any of these apply to your relationship, or even all of them. Just be ready with an explanation, and lots of evidence to prove that your marriage is genuine.
