Hi all,
I have an interesting situation here.
My file was first at Edmonton VO at which my Criminality was Passed.. but on Dec 13 I got to know that my file transferred to the NDVO, the reason being my Eligibility went under Review Required.!
I applied as CEC. Me being Principal applicant (living in Canada) and my wife (living in India)

What should I expect.?
I read through the forum and found he most common reason was related to employment letter. So, I checked my employment letter and it is including Job duties, my role, hours per week worked, salary. It has everything in it.!!

I also ordered GCMs notes, for me also they are saying review required for client information. Did you find out what is it all about? Aor sep 2019

I haven't gotten a certain explanation for this. From my GCMS note I think it is related to my letter of explanation and statutory questions. Also I had been requested to submit a schedule A form months ago.

this makes sense, because my PR was refused and i answered yes in one of the statutory questions.

AOR: Oct 18,2019
MEP: Nov 14,2019
Ghost Update: Feb 17,2020
No update after that
background check says: we are processing your background check. We will send you a massage if we need more information. (I’m not sure whether it’s ip2 or 1)
I tried calling CIC 2 times after the ghost update. In first call the agent told me. It’s because your application has been touched. Your medical and criminality have been passed. Security is in process.
I called them again after 2 days to ask about Eligibility. The agent replied: Eligibility is under Review Required. However, he didn’t not explain why it’s Review Required? Also, he told me your medicals and criminality have been passed. Security check is yet to start.
2 different replies from 2 different agents about security check.
I’m really LOST, where my application is going. I’ve been reading different web forums some web forms say after ghost update, ppr mail comes in a week or two. Now, I’m in third week nothing from them. On the other side, some say Review Required cases may take up to a year to reach at the final stage

what were the supporting documents that you submitted that showed the split? i.e in your verification of employment and roles and responsibilities letter you could have just mentioned the latest role and get roles and responsibilities for that. i am also in same situation where i have 2 promotions while i was in Canada and i am conflicted on whether i should split my work ex into 3 parts and provide letter for all 3 of them (one letter split by promotion) or just mention my latest role and then provide them one letter. The second option is easier as my company will provide it without any hassle.
