I submitted on a company letter head. I’m sure i know it’s a common sense to not to self attest it. But the point is who reads and review has to know the language used in it to judge. I have been renewing my H1-B for past 8 years with similar job duties and you know how things changed in US.

That's good, But then why does officer say job duties not provided?

Another thing is which I've gathered from this forum that visa officers are not subject experts so jargons might not go very well with them, language should be simple enough to be understandable by anyone

Exactly. I could have copy pasted from those who successfully met the eligibility instead being honest.

I consolidated the Job duties with employee contract and uploaded via IRCC webform. I am not sure if this will help in anyway to reconsider the application. Anything else should I be doing or just wait for them to react?

I did not hear from them since I uploaded the additional documents via web form and it's been more than 30 days. When I called customer support line, agent insisted that a decision hasn't been posted to the account yet and the application is with-in the 6 month processing window so she asked me to wait for it. I have no clue what to do. I thought to raising GCMS notes but I backed because it's just waste of money and unnecessary anxiety.

Any update on your app? What is your current status?

ordered gcms in October (around 4 months post AOR) and eligibility review was in progress. I am going to order gcms again now because my medicals just expired and there is no news from CIC.

You got your GCMS notes?

Here is my situation :
I had submitted my application with primary NOC Code as 2281. All my documentation was based on NOC 2282 as my primary NOC Code. I just called up CIC and was advised file status is 'eligibility not met' as Primary NOC 2281 has got nothing to do with my experience of 2282. I realized my mistake and had a look at my submitted application and I have chosen 2281 as opposed to 2282. I have raised a CSE to rectify my mistake.
What do you all think, would they accept my rectification or reject my file?

Honestly, they are not consistent in cases like these. Some have been lucky to get away with it where the analyst changed the NOC himself sometimes and noted that duties matched another NOC code. But in some cases candidates were not so lucky and their files were rejected. So, just pray it works for you.

yes majority of people say it is all luck from here on....If the Analyst feels he wants to change he will change otherwise if not in a good mood then back to square one...Anyways whatever happens, happens for good :)

Yeah I wish they were consistent either way so that at least people knew what to expect. I hope and pray it works out for you.
