Eligibility completed May 26..since then no update

Hi,

I applied for my visitor visa via new portal on May 16. Biometric updated May 21. Last update on the tracker is on May 26 - eligibility completed. Since then there has been NO UPDATE whatsoever. I am only seeing background check is in process since May 26. My country of citizenship is Bangladesh, current processing time on IRCC website for visitor visa application from Bangladesh is 70 days (updated july 12). So by now, I should be getting some sort of update. My wife is a Canadian Citizen, currently residing with me in Bangladesh. We haven't applied for my PR yet.

Anyone from Bangladesh who shares the same timeline as me? Please share your experience.

did you receive BVL?

usually a BVL+ no visa document num = refusal..
lets hope you get a approval..

Biometric Validity letter? No, did not receive any such letter yet. Received biometric collection letter on May 11. Biometric enrolment showed up on portal may 21 along with biometric number. Then on tracker, eligibility completed showed up on May 26.

I am in the same boat. Tracker shows biometrics completed, eligibility completed and medical in progress. No BVL yet and no visa number yet.

I am in the same boat but from India....If it is refusal it should be right after the eligibility stage ? isn't it

yes...and applied from Germany ....been stuck at background check since may 25

if your name starts from Muhammad or Khan or any other popular name then well there is nothing much you can do

I am wondering to know your status after last update you shared with us? Did you get PPR? how long after Eligibility completed?
I am in same status ...
