EI CERB for students Please Help

Hi guys! I just graduated and will receive my final grades in a few days, but havent received graduation letter and credential have not been awarded yet (and it will take another 2-3 weeks)
I got laid off a few days ago for the reason of Covid19. Can I still apply for EI or emergency response benefit?Or I have to wait till I apply for PGWP (once I receive my letters at school and credentials)?

Also, for EI I have to mail work permits/employment authorizations, but I am on a Student permit? What should I do? Have anyone had similar situation?

Apply for CERB if you have wotked and made atleast 5k Canadian dollars in the last year you qualify you dont have you prove anything its literally 3 clicks

You should apply, being an international student is not an issue all residents even temporary are elligable as long as you meet the other requirements.

Apply for CERB if you have wotked and made atleast 5k Canadian dollars in the last year you qualify you dont have you prove anything its literally 3 clicks

People don’t have to “ prove “ anything because Canada uses the self assessment system , however if it’s found people did not qualify, applied and received the money , the government will claw back these funds at the back end
I foresee collections at the CRA will be extremely busy in let’s say six months to a year

Hello, I have similar situation here! I got laid off 2 days before final grade out. However, I don't know if I should apply CERB since we are not allowed to work after the final grade is out and before applying PGWP.

company close since 3/19 but still paying me minimum every week ( total under $1000 per month)
Laid off : 4/25
Final grade out + graduation letter: 4/27
PGWP submission : mid of May
I want to apply CERB starting 3/15 since my monthly income was less than 1k.
just wondering should I apply CERB or not?

yeah, they cut my hours, used to be 18-20hr, was 5-8hours before they laid me off.
