Does it work?

yes, instead of showing transfers to your bank account.

But Quebec insists on social insurance

You mean Quebec needs pay slips or insurance right?

Thanks for your feedback. I have noticed also that it took more than 6 months to process your application and to obtain a PPR. I think I should expect the same as I am applying from Egypt too.

Yeah, I hope so. Thank you and all the best in Canada Inchaa Allah +1

Congratulations Basma .

I thought that Ottawa office asks when they ask for passport , you have to sent it to their office in Canada and not Cairo visa office.

do medical request requested by Ottawa or Cairo visa office ? please let me know so that I know my expected timing :) thanks in advance

Hi there,
congratulations for PPR

for you I think it will take around 2-3 weeks to stamp PR visa ..

can you please give some info about your timeline & which office asked for medical Ottawa or Cairo VO,, which provinces nominated you?

Thank you & good luck to you

Hi
Timeline is:
Nomination from Nova Scotia on 28 Jan 2016
ITA from CIC on 10 Feb 2016
AOR of electronic permanent resident application: 27 Feb 2016
Medicals passed: 1 March 2016
Additional documents requested and submitted: 1 March 2016
Additional documents requested: 15 May 2016, submitted: 16 May 2016
PPR: 17 Nov 2016
PP sent to Canadian Embassy in Cairo: 20 Nov 2016
Awaiting visa stamp

Note that in the electronic application for permanent residence you have to upload an "upfront medical", so no office asked for it, its just part of the electronic application. The medical check up in Cairo is done at the Anglo-american hospital.

What about your timeline?

Thanks and regards,
Basma

if ur bank statement does not show ur money for the last six month , u will need to have a letter from ur father or relative saying that this money is a gift to start ur life in canada, and he will not take the money back.
And He will sign it.
