it's normal then, being so fresh out of service, they usually check for clearance from Egypt

My friend who already landed didn't do anything at the ministry of foreign affairs, just the translator.

I have a quick question, did any one here ever done "el feesh" here in Canada through the embassy? I have got a copy of the certificates, but I dont know where can I do my finger prints.

Any one knows the location, please let me know.

Finally got my ITA yesterday, quick question, how much should I expect to pay for medicals. Two grown ups and two kids?

The fees at Anglo American per person:

Medical Examination : 200 LE
Urine Analysis : 20 LE
Blood Analysis : 190 LE
X-Ray (I think for adults only) : 150 LE
Serum Creatinine (will be requested later in case of Hypertension): 30 LE

What can i do if i was working in a company that pays cash so no pay slips and no insurance. .how can i prove my experience?

An experience letter according to cic regulations is enough

No but if you have those it will make your case stronger if not just a proper experience letter explaining all the info needed by cic is enough
