Hello guys, Good morning.. I need help with the proof of funds. Doe it have to be a current account? Or can it be either time shares or a savings account? Another thing what is the suitable amount in egyptian pounds?

Hi Ramii

They accept these types
- cash (saving or current accounts)
- documents that show property or capital payable to you (such as stocks, bonds, debentures, treasury bills, etc.) or
- documents that guarantee payment of a set amount of money, which are payable to you (such as bankers’ drafts, cheques, travellers’ cheques or money orders).

you must yourself have the money, not borrowed recently or just a written promise by anyone.

depending on your family member count, you are referred to this table: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Thanks for your help .. The thing is I had a bank Certificat since 3 years ago with an adequate amount of money. Will that work?

Of course it will NOT work. POF must be recent & fund in your account for a while not just deposited

It's not just deposited, its been in my name for 3years, but it's a bank certificate

the PoF has to be recent (~2 months max), if not, they will ask for a new one

Depends on what you want to translate, I did the birth certificates at the Ministry of Health, the marriage certificate at Ministry of Justice, and only did a proof of funds at a private practice (called ICU in Mohandessin), if you go to a private practice make sure they notarize the translation (stamp it) and also they should give you an affidavit certificate copy (you'll pay extra for it).

the ministries are always a better option because it's an official copy in English issued by the government and can be attested by Ministry of Foreign affairs
Thank you for reply,
I have already applied, I translated all the documents in private sector ( Fo'ad Neamah and Senior translation office) and I have neither attest by ministry of foreign affairs nor attach the mentioned affidavit, will this cause a problem ? so I would send this affidavit in a CSE ?
Thank you

Hello everyone,

they may ask for affidavit, if you did it in the Ministries, it's cheaper, faster (same day) and stamped by government seal of state; so I suggest you get those from Ministries just in case (cost is about 40LE for birth certificate, and 50 for marriage certificate)

ministry of foreign affairs does not attest private practices translations.

I don't know what's CSE

If you by Bank Certificate mean a "GIC" or guranteed investment certificate, in arabic شهادات الاستثمار (اوالتوفير) المؤمنة, then It will work.

Yes you can update your application with documents via a CSE any time.

We're happy to discuss and help. share your timeline and Program.

I noticed one applicant mentioned that his application returned for "missing marriage certificate"!

as far as I can tell, no such certificate was required as part of OINP application and hence, I didn't send it, is my understanding correct?

Hello guys
When we get PR; are we obliged to live in a province after nomination by law and papers?
What if we don't find a suitable job for example ?

To my understanding, marriage certificate is the only proof of the relationship to your spouse. You should preferably attach it with a letter of explanation and send it to complete the application. A notarized copy.
