Masa2 el fol 3ala kol el nas el 7elwa .. ya rab ew3edna ;D

A big thank you to the person who started this thread (rabena yebareklak), it's really nice to have some support.

Unfortunately, according to the requirements on the CIC for work experience, I don't qualify for neither an Express Entry nor a PNP, however I want to give it a shot and see what happens, who knows.

I'm in the very beginning of the process, preparing my documents for setting up a profile.
One point I'm struggling with is the credential assessment, the assessment for my university degree is not a problem of course (I think) ::), however, for my secondary education, I'm not sure what to do as (according to the designated organizations) I'm supposed to request an English Secondary Certificate (Thanaweya 3ama) to be sent directly by the Ministry of Education to the ECA organization in Canada.
And I'm not sure, is that how it is done here?! I mean, should I go to the Ministry in downtown area and make such a request or am I mistaken somehow? I could really use some help guys.

Thanks in advance. ;)

If you have a university degree you don't need the secondary certificate to be assessed.

If you field of study anything other than Pharmacy or Medicine (cause they have specific assessment organizations) I would suggest WES Canada

1- I'm not sure "El amirah nourhan f roushdy" is within IRCC database of certified translators. There are two ways to find out. First, ask the translation office to provide you with an evidence that they are. Second, call the Canadian Embassy in Cairo and ask them to email you a list of acceptable translators. Remember, you cannot attach a translation on its own, you always need an affidavit attached to it.

2- As for Nadoury & Nahas translations, I can guarantee you they provide you with what you need. All the pricing you have been quoted is absolutely correct EXCEPT; since you will be uploading scanned documents directly through your MyCIC account, you don't need to get a photocopy certified. All you need is an official translation plus affidavit. (That extra 10LE)

What you should do:
- Go to Nadoury & Nahas anytime after 12 PM to make sure they are actually there. They moved offices last year so the easiest way to get in there:
You go down El Sultan Hussien St as if you are heading towards Abo Qer Road, on your right you will find CIB Old White Building (and an old petrol station), turn right and then make another right turn (El Baraka Bank) and look up you will find the Nadoury & Nahas sign hanging out of one of the buildings on your right hand. It's on the fifth floor IIRC.

- Ask them for an official translation and an affidavit. An affidavit will include a sworn statement, Mourad Nadoury's registration card and its official translation. Cost per document is 80LE. Do not pay for an express service and negotiate the estimated time of delivery instead.

This sounds sponsored as f ;D Just don't get scammed, and ask away if you need any help. Good luck

Since you are a bachelor degree holder, you won't be needing your Thanawya Amma certificate at any point during your journey to get a permanent residency.

If you are applying to WES for an ECA, you need to send:
- A signed application + a photocopy of your Bachelor Certificate in ENGLISH (any 50p photocopy will do, you don't need to certify it.) with your name as a sender.
- IN A SEPARATE ENVELOPE, send your official transcript in ENGLISH + a complete and stamped WES document request letter (you will get it as a PDF when you apply) in a white SEALED envelope (Sho2oon il kheregeen bykhtemo aflet il zarf) and sender details MUST be your university/faculty address NOT YOURS.

Good luck

Birth certificates should be translated in Ministry of health

marriage license should be translated in Ministry of justice

alternatively, you can issue them from Abbaseya in English (be sure to check the spelling)

anything else can be translated in North Cairo court of first instance (you can even go with the translation on a flash drive and they just print it for you)

Well, IRCC demands coloured scans of original documents. I am not sure how acceptable a B&W photocopy scan would be!
My advice is to scan the originals to avoid raising unwanted suspicion (i7na a high risk country aslan fa msh na2sa). If you can't get the original, you should ask the guys at the translation office. They deal with many applicants and I believe they are more experienced when it comes to case-specific documents.
