Hi Members,

While filling the Parents Sponsorship application, I am stuck in 1 question.

"qq. Had any serious disease or physical or mental disorder? Yes or No
-- "My father had a brain stroke in 2016 and due to that his body got paralyzed. His condition is totally stable now and he does all of his chores by himself but left part is still not 100%"

Now, I am confused, what should I mention in the Question. If I select Yes, it asks for an explanation. What should I explain and why?

or should I select No?

Why do you have a doubt? I think it's pretty clear that the condition you described looks serious. Glad he managed to mostly recover... but why you think of selecting no?

Agree that you have to mention this. Just indicate that he had a stroke in 2016 that affected the left part of his body. That he had paralysis on the left side of his body as a result of the stroke but has regained a large portion of his function on the left side and is able to live independently (if that is the case). The strike will come up in the in person medical as well.
