EE with LMIA/ without processing time is same? or faster

Hi ppl

Just got a question from my friend, he just got LMIA in weeks ago. If his EE is supported by LMIA, is the processing time will be faster then his normal EE processing time?

or it just a piece of paper, nothing help processing EE?

Processing time is same (6 months or less).
