EE who waiting more than 2 months after AOR join here

1. Visit https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Click "Next". Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select CIC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" (choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you have a spouse on your file or you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

I used this instruction. It's old, so several things is different right now. Choose "Access to information Act" option.

Guys have a question for the experts on the forum.....here is the scenario:
Mine and my husband's work permit is going to expire in August 26,2015. With God grace we got PPR last week and we already have sent our passports to Ottawa office which is due to deliver tomorrow. So far we have not applied for work permit extension and according to my lawyer we should wait till 24tg or25th so that if we receive our passports back by 24th or 25th..... We can rush to the border and get our PR work done before our valid status in the country gets expire.

Please suggest us is that a good idea to go about????

July 15th 2015 : AOR

No Changes yet and no access to ECAS:

1. Application/profile status : Open
2. Review of eligibility : Review in Progress
3. Review of medical results : Not needed at this time
4. Review of submitted documents : No additional documents are needed at this time
5. Scheduling an interview : Not needed at this time
7. A background check is needed : Not needed at this time
8. A final decision has been reached: Not Started

Last update was ECAS in process on Aug 15. Checking every 3 hours ECAS n MYCIC for PPR.

I was deleted from ECAS system one month ago. I spoke to an agent right now and she said that my application does exist , I am assuming that we are the unliked people lol .

They process some people from some countries quickly and others have to wait for the six month then call and ask for an update. i wouldn't be surprised if they finalized our applications in 8 or 10 months honestly.

Are you in Canada right now, I mean do you have a number to call them ?

I am currently in the United States so not sure if there is a number I can call and check

CIC refused to tell me anything via phone. Not about eCAS, not about my application. Wait for 6 months they said.

8 months is not so bad...Hope we will get our PPR this year.
