Call them right after you pass the 6 months. Because it can take up to 90 days to get a response from officer. Good luck!

Don't worry too much, tempa. I had same updates right before I got PPR. Hope CIC is finalizing your application!

In my case, CIC agents send two notes (~September 28 and ~November 13). The first one about situation with no updates on my file and the second one about the processing time (passed 6 months). The agent who send the second note said that the previous agent send a wrong note to the officer...

There is no option to select "prompt for applications exceeding the 6 month window". You just select PR application option and then describe your situation.

Hmm, actually CIC agent should've sent note to the officer about your case (if it's more then 6 months of processing). It's strange that they refuse to do it.

It doesn't mean that CIC increased processing time. For example when I called CIC after 6 months of waiting they said to me that there is no maximum processing time for EE and I should wait. Years if it's necessary. However to my MP they said that maximum processing time is 14 months for CEC...

I doubt it's a glitch. It's a maximum processing time. And it's a good thing to know that CIC finally published it. Before they were telling you that there is no maximum processing time at all. 6 months is rubbish. They said "We will try process most of all applications in 6 months".

What about note to officer? Did they send it?

Mine took 10 months. There is a guy on this forum with AOR on February 2015 and he's still waiting for his PPR.

On Dec 25 it changed to Not Started from Not Needed. Then in changed to in Progress, then to Not Needed.

Did you try to request GCMS notes after your last CSE? Did you call CIC recently?
