EE profile - adding education that has no ECA

hello everyone,

I have a quick question and would appreciate your views/suggestions on it.

While creating Express Entry profile, is there a harm in adding Masters degree that hasnt been assesses yet. Will it create any issue for me if i get PNP or ITA?

Please note:
1. I am not claiming points for it and have claimed points for Bachelors only.
2. It is currently under review by an assessment agency.
3. It is a degree awarded in 2010.

My purpose to add this, is to showcase that i have a degree in the field of my job and to put extra weight in my application.

Your suggestions are highly appreciated.

You cannot add any foreign credentials unless it's got an equivalency as per the agencies assigned by CIC. If you receive an ITA based on this , it would be a misinterpretation.

Does that mean that by adding the Masters and even mentioning that i do not have ECA for it will be considered misrepresentation?

You cannot assume your masters to be "masters as per canadian equivalency" unless you get the ECA done, so adding Masters makes no sense to them as they solely rely on the ECA report
