When exactly do you get this message?
I know someone who got a similar message when trying to update his EE profile from his office network.
CIC site may behave unpredictably if you try to update it through a firewall.
Also, try to use IE or Chrome instead of Firefox for best results.

Let us know if it helped.

I received the error message when I try to continue application and upload documents. I have created my profile, transmitted the records, received an application number and created a job bank profile. Now when I try to submit the online application, I receive this error.

As far as I remember, creating a job bank profile with the assigned job id is the last step.

What is the status of your application in MyCIC page?
What browser are you using?
 
Thank you! I used Chrome and IE8 and got the same error.
Status of my application is "Not Submitted"

Guys,

I have a feeling this is either network related or your personal system related.
Have you tried submitting from a different network? How about using another computer to submit the application?

Since others aren't facing this issue it makes sense to think this might be an individual environment problem.

Do try the above and see if it helps.

try Incognito window in Chrome or Private browsing in Firefox - probably a cookies/cache issue

One possible solution (I tried in my case and got success) :

1) if you don't have last name in your passport then write "given name - Not applicable" and "last name - your given name as per passport".
2) Register yourself as a fresh applicant and complete the whole process ... you will get success.

I recreated my EE profile and subsequently received 2 messages on the MyCIC portal. I also created my job bank profile.

When I come back to the MyCIC dashboard, it says that I have 44 days left to submit and under 'details' it says 'Not submitted'.

I tried to paste a snapshot here but am not sure it worked. Please advise on next steps. Thank you!!

Looks like you haven't signed and submitted your profile. What options do you see when you click on 'Check status and messages' ?

lets figure it out quick! the draw may happen any day now.
 
I see 2 messages under 'check status and messages'
(1) Welcome to Express Entry - January-12-2015 02:52:08 PM EST
(2) Express Entry profile received - Next Steps - JobBank - January-12-2015 02:05:52 PM EST

I followed the instructions in (2) and used the jobmatch function to create my jobbank profile.

All forms under 'view submitted profile' are showing transmitted.

Then I clicked continue to sign to receive the message "Congratulations! You have successfully submitted your application or profile"

Even then under 'details' it says 'not submitted' ???

Below the applications not submitted....go down.....again you will see applications submitted. If you yet don't see it, I guess you have to wait for a few hours and check back again!!
